CULTIVATING HIS PRESENCE
“For you will not leave my soul in Sheol. Nor will you allow your holy one to see corruption. You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. At your right hand are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalms 16:10-11)
God delights in fellowshipping and dwelling with you and in you, even though His essence is not limited to you. One of the greatest promises our Lord Jesus gave to us at the end of His ministry here on earth, is that of His abiding presence. “And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- The Spirit Of Truth” whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him for He dwells with you and will be in you; I will come to you.” (John 14:16-18)
In every dispensation God has always dwelled with and abided in His people as individuals and in groups.
