THE CONSTANCY OF JESUS

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday
today and forever
” (Heb 13:8)
The truth that Jesus Christ does
not change provides a sure anchor
for our faith as a Christian or believer.
It means that present believers must
not be content until they experience
the same salvation, communion
with God, baptism in the Holy
Spirit and kingdom power that the
New Testament believers experienced in their
service to God through Christ Jesus.
Justifier
Jesus said “Most assuredly, I say to
you he who
believes in me the works
that I do he will do also,
and greater
works than these he will do because
I go
to my father” (John 14:12).
The faith of the disciples was hinged
on the unchanging Christ: his faithfulness,
and stability. The Christ who the eye
witness saw is still the same today
and what was said about Him is still
true and valid and it will always be
true forever.For example the disciples
brought many into the saving knowledge
of Christ, performed great signs and
wonders, healed the sick, brought the
dead back to life through the authority
and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Peter in Acts 3:6 “Said and gold I do
not have, but
what I do have I give you;
in the name of Jesus Christ
of Nazareth,
rise up and walk
” The name of Jesus Christ
is the person and authority of Jesus which
has been given as an open check to you to
do exploit in your generation. “If you ask any
thing in my name I will do it
” (John 14:14).
Jesus Christ does not change, He was at the
beginning with God and even now, all things
were created by Him and He is in charge
of the creation.

. He is constant in His nature and work.
His nature and work He expects you to imitate
and be like Him.
· He is constant in purity - Be holy as I
the Lord your God is holy (1Peter 1:16)
· He is constant in victory over sin, Satan
and all his allies (Col 2:14-15)
· He is constant in power and authority
Matthew 18:18
· He is constant in mercy/love and faithfulness
Psalm 6:11 and Lamentation 3:22-23.
· He is constant in help and presence Hebrew 13:6,
Mathew 28:20b
· Our Lord Jesus Christ is constant in provision
- He is the good shepherd, no want for his
sheep and God will always supply all your needs
according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus
Philippians 4:19.
· He is constant in forgiveness, and salvation
1John 1:9, Acts 4:13
· Jesus is constant in healing and deliverance.
(Acts10:38, 1 John 3:8)
· Jesus Christ is constant in giving. The life
He gave to people that believed in Him while here
on earth, He is still giving today (John 10:10b)

Jesus Christ has not changed. What do you
have to do in order to experience the fullness
of Christ? Trust and believe in Him is
very important. Your faith must be in God
and the finished work of the cross of Calvary
which He did on your behalf. Without faith in Him,
you cannot please God, because anyone who comes to
Him must believe that he exists and that he rewards
those who earnestly seek Him (Heb 11.6).

As you read this message, I challenge you in the
name of the Lord to repent of every wrong opinion
and thought pattern about the risen and ascended
Christ who is alive forever more. You can reach
out to Him today by faith to meet you at the very
point of your need as He did to the woman with the
issue of blood, Bartimeaus, Peter, John and James
and the saints of old.

Wait on Him in hope, He is coming back and when
He comes we shall see Him the way He is. May your
faith in Him never fail.
