FROM NOTHINGNESS INTO MULTIPLICATION

The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for
them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the
rose. It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even
with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be
given to it. The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They
shall see the glory of the LORD. The Excellency of our
God "(Isa 35:1-2)
The wilderness or desert is a place that a believer
must visit in his or her walk of faith. The wilderness
or desert is the territory of Satan, the devil’s
examination room, to test which kind of stuff you are
made of. No believer likes to dwell there but the Holy
Spirit may lead you there as in the case of our Lord Jesus
Christ (Lk 4:1).
There are several infiltrations the devil may make
into a believer’s life to bring about the wilderness
experience, not necessarily because you have sinned but
just because it is part of your training process. The
devil can bring lack, depression unfulfilment,
barrenness, unrest, turbulence and strife in your
home, work or business; He can even bring some
habitual sin or oppression or obsession which has
constituted a nuisance and a source of continuous
sorrow. The desert is a place in which you are exposed
to all kinds of wizards, harsh wind, extreme cold, dryness
and heat. But in it all God is more than able to bring
deliverance on your way.
Deliverance is included in God’s plan of redemption
through the Blood of Jesus which was shed to
completely liberate you form bondage or the wilderness
experience you may find yourself in.
God is interested in your deliverance so that you can
enjoy the abundant life on earth. In the above passage
(Isa 35:1-7) there was a dramatic turning point that
took place. For example fear dissipated, mourning,
weeping and sorrow turned to laughter, joy and
rejoicing. Extreme heat and cold turned to cool
blossoming instead of dryness. The blind see, the deaf
hear, the lame walk and dumb speak.
God specialises in springing pleasant surprises and I see
Him springing at least
one pleasant surprise that will
move you from nothingness to exceeding multiplication.
I see Him locating and establishing you in the very
satisfaction. “You have caused men to ride over our
heads; we went through fire and through water; but
you brought us out to rich fulfilment“(Psalm 66:12).
What brings a turning point from wilderness
experience to supernatural abundance and rich
fulfilment is the rain of the Holy Spirit in the
fullness of His power and blessing.
Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to
Galilee and news of Him went out through all the
surrounding region. And He taught in their synagogues
being glorified by all" (Luke 4:14-15).
God is still in the business of turning your lack to
abundant supply, settling solitary in families, bring
prosperity and sound security to His children. This is
your season of mercy and favour from the Lord to bring
multiplication of His goodness in your life. Cry to
the Lord to send you His rain, the former and the
latter rain.
Until the spirit is poured upon us from on high and
the wilderness becomes a fruitful field is counted as
a forest” (Isa 32:15)
The disciples were in obscurity, full of fear limited
and few until the day of Pentecost come but after
the rain of the Holy Spirit fell, there was an
addition, which later became a multitude of people being
added to the church daily.
And believers were increasingly added to the Lord,
multitudes of both men and women" (Acts 5:14)
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit is the sure agent
of working out of the miracle of multiplication in
every generation of believers. It is our prayer that in
this season, the Lord will move you from nothingness
into multiplication. The Lord will multiply your
blessing. If you ask for one you will get four, all
your pending promotions will come forth speedily and in
many folds in the name of Jesus.
"Blessed is the man you choose, and cause to approach
you that he may dwell in your courts. He shall be
satisfied with the goodness of your house, of your
holy temple" (Ps 65:4)
May the Almighty God visit you with His Spirit and
power and greatly enrich you.
