HEARING THE RIGHT SOUND
“Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain”
(I Kgs.18:41)
Any time God wants to do something new in the life of a man, a people or a nation, He will look for somebody with a listening ear that He can speak to about what He wants to do. He will create and idea or impression or a thought in the mind of that fellow so that he can position himself or herself for action. In this year of The Next Level, and A Brand New Thing, you and I need to cultivate the habit of hearing God in order to be able to move to the next level of glory, blessing, power, greatness that he has prepared for us.
For three and a half years, there has been prolonged dry season (famine) in Israel according to the Word of Judgement pronounced upon the nation by Elijah. When it was the time for a new season for the nation Israel, Elijah heard through the ears and a deep impression that the season for refreshing for the nation had come. And for you as you are reading this message, this is your season for abundance of rain. There is a sound of abundant blessing and all round heading to your direction. Your joy is about to experience an over flow.
In the midst of challenges and diverse circumstances-you are bound to hear many voices or sounds, but I pray you will recognise God’s sound and Word that will bring solution to your challenges in Jesus name. His sound will speak peace to you in your present ugly situations.
In Revelation 1:10-11, John heard the voice of the Lord on the Lord’s day, and stood by it and was guided into victory. Like Ezekiel, you will hear with your ears a great thunderous voice “Blessed is the glory of the Lord from His place” and the Spirit and the voice will lead you to the place of rich fulfilment and divine assignment.
Peter in his difficult situation heard the right sound from the Lord; his lack was turned to supernatural abundance (Luke 5:4-9). The right sound brought about a total and complete change in Peter’s life, destiny, companion and profession and purpose of life. This day, you will hear the sound of the Lord that will bring you a pleasant change.
It is time to listen to the right sound and keep the right word in your heart for your breakthrough and pleasant changes. Are you sick in your body, emotion, mental faculty or even spiritually? What you need is the right sound like Elisha spoke the right sound concerning Namaan (II Kgs.5:3-14) and the leprosy in his life was permanently cleansed, his skin was restored to be like a newly born baby.
You are healed from all your sickness and diseases because by His stripes you were healed. Hearken to the sound and diligently follow divine instructions given and you will be made whole or well.
In II Kgs.4:1-7, the prophet’s wife integrated debts from her deceased husband and her two sons were to be enslaved. On getting to Elisha the prophet of God, she heard the right sound and upon acting on the word, her poverty gave way to abundant wealth. Are you presently poor? You will hear the right sound that will usher you to your prosperity and flourishing in Jesus name. Paul in Acts9:4 heard the voice of the Lord, a persecutor of believers became the preacher of the Gospel because he heard the right voice from heaven that changed his destiny and purpose for living. Open your ears and heart to hear the right word that will bring about newness in your life. The word of God should be your currency this season. As soon as you hear the right sound, keep it in your heart; speak to your self to build up your faith; for faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God.
As you hear the right Word, good things will begin to happen in your life in Jesus name. God bless you,
