DIVINE ESTABLISHMENT

Then the Lord appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; live in this land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father” (Gen.26:3-4).

At the beginning of the year 2006, the Lord promised to usher us into our very best “which is the land flowing with milk and honey”. God being faithful to his word, we saw so many of the devoted and committed brethren ushered into their very best. God’s promise to us in 2007 as the New Year unfolds is that the Lord will divinely ESTABLISH his children in the very best that He has ushered them into.

We are convinced that as the Lord has promised, He will settle securely in a position especially in a favourable position all his faithful children. “For you are the glory of their strength, and in your favour our horn is exalted” (Psalm.89:17).He will cause you to be recognised and accepted by those who have hated, despised or strive with you for long because you will enjoy His personal presence, bringing you strength, help and protection as we chose to live by His word obeying all it’s standards and directives. “When a man’s way pleases the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him” (Prov.16:7)

The Lord commanded Isaac to stay in the land and that He will bless him and prosper him. God has promised to securely settle you in that position of your divine assignment which you must seek to locate and make to become your obsession.

Isaac believed God that as the Lord promised to bless him and establish him in the land of Gerar despite the long protracted famine in the land and other unfavourable conditions, He will do it. Isaac discovered God’s assignment and was obsessed by it and walked by manifestation of God’s promise.

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundred fold and the LORD blessed him. The man began to prosper and continued prospering until he became very prosperous of herds and great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him” (Gen 26: 12-14).

What God has promised you is to proper you where others are failing, Your progress and success will be so pronounced that it will attract envy and jealousy from your neighbours, kings and rulers. They will surely strife with you, do so many things to stop your progress but they will find your defeat unattainable because of God’s personal presence. Every stage or phase of opposition will lead you to further breakthrough until you get to your Rehoboth, where you will experience no more intimidation and you will confess that God has made room large enough for you and all those who have been striving with you will surrender to you and acknowledge that the Lord is with you.

For everyday of this year, your enemy will be growing weaker and weaker and you will be growing and waxing stronger and stronger. Arm yourself for battle and go before the Lord. He will surely establish you in your inheritance and deliver unto you your possession.

· Keep God’s divine regulations. Isaac was obedient to God’ will

· Build an altar to the Lord and truly call on the name of the Lord in prayer, praise and thanksgiving

· Have faith in God. Be conscious of His promise, walk in the light of His promises.

· Be diligent and hard working at your divine assignment

· Ask for double portion of overflowing anointing (Ps 23:5)

· Do not give in to the threat, intimidation or strife of the enemy (Isa. 8:9-11) (Isa. 54:16-17).

This year Jesus Christ will reign supreme in your life, proof Himself as the mighty warrior, the lion of the tribe of Judah and will establish and bless you with so much blessing that all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
Sing for joy for your season of being firmly established has come.

ABUNDANT LIFE

“I am the door, if anyone enters by me he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy .I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly” (John.10:9-10)

At the beginning God created man to have quality and quantity of life: that is, more than enough. After the fall of Adam and Eve at the Garden of Eden, man lost that privilege of having more than enough of life; he began to be in lack, and in want. The scripture says for all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, Jesus Christ comes as a solution and remedy to the degrading nature and lack of mankind. He came to offer plentiful, more than enough of life vis-à-vis physical, spiritual and eternal life. Apostle John in his epistle affirmed that God’s desire for those who have received Jesus Christ and believed in him is to prosper in health even as their soul prospers. So God’s redemptive package through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross of Calvary is to be blessed and become a blessing. The overflowing life we received is physical, spiritual and eternal.

Physical life is the ability or the grace impacted to you as a child of God to function and grow to fulfil God’s purpose and plan here on earth .To you, God’s promise through Christ Jesus is that as you serve Him the Lord-God, He will bless your bread and water. And will take sickness away from you, you will not suffer miscarriage or be barren in your body and in the work of your hand, and will fulfil the number of your days, no premature death. Even while here on earth, he will keep your body in good health because the spirit that gives life to man is in the inside of you. “If the spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the death is living in you, He who raised Christ from the death will give life to your mortal bodies through His spirit who lives in you” (Rom.8:11) Through Christ Jesus you have been given power and authority to live in perpetual victory over all the forces and powers of darkness (Lk.10:19), to be healed and be in health (I Pet.2:24) and have the power to create wealth and have more than enough riches and material blessings (Deut.8:18).

Secondly, you have been given spiritual life in abundance through Christ our Lord, Jesus said whoever believes my word and believes in Him who sent me has crossed over from death to life. (Jn.5:24) You are brought near to God through His blood, through Him, you have access to the Father by the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the new and living way opened for us through the curtain that is his body. Jesus came to restore communion and fellowship between mankind and God by taking away our sin and breaking the wall of partition between us and the Father.

Thirdly, eternal life which is a gift from God comes to us through Jesus Christ our Lord and King (Rom.6:23b).Without genuine spiritual life in Christ the gift of eternal life is not possible. Blessed are those who partake of the first resurrection, the second death has no power over them; they will reign with him eternally. To experience abundant life, make room large enough for Him in your heart, clear your mind of every vile and unprofitable thought and imagination, usher Him in and let him fully occupy your heart, mind and body.

Pray that you will experience his manifold blessings this year in more than enough quantity, He is the all sufficient God He will satisfy and fill you to overflowing.

DIVINE VISITATION

“Then the angel of the lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zachariah saw him, he was troubled and fear fell upon him. But the angel said to him. Do not be afraid, Zachariah for your prayer is heard and your wife Elisabeth will bear you a son and you shall call him John. And you will have joy and gladness and many will rejoice at his birth” (Luke.1:11-14)

God is never late .There is a time and a season for the accomplishment of his divine plan and counsel for those he loves. There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the Heaven and in God’s own time, He makes all things beautiful.

Zachariah and Elisabeth were devoted, committed, blameless, righteous servants of the Lord, yet they were barren. Their situation was hopeless because the Bible says “they were well advanced in years”. They have long passed the age of childbearing by human standard. But a day came that God remembered Zachariah and Elisabeth and decided to pay them a visit. When God pays his children a visit, it is for the fulfilment of the long awaited promise and the performance of His special miracle on their behalf. When Joseph was about to die, he told the children of Israel in Egypt that God will surely visit them, and in the fullness of time, He visited them by first visiting Moses in the wilderness through the burning bush, the ultimate result of this was deliverance and divine fulfilment of his covenant for them to be established in what he promised their father Abraham.

To you in this season God is going to pay you a visit, spend time with you for social reasons. He will especially bring joy to your family by fulfilling his promises concerning your family as he did for Zachariah. God will also visit in a professional capacity to enhance your business career, ministry, academic, vocation e.t.c. His visitation is giving your life a complete change of direction and destiny.

God is working out a miracle for you in this season that will bring you gladness, and joy and many will rejoice at your breakthroughs; healing, promotion, deliverance, blessing in Jesus name.

All of God’s promises concerning you will be established even if you are still in doubt like Zachariah and Sarah. Sarah laughed and doubted God when she was told, she will bring forth the promised child) (Gen.18:12-13). Her unbelief did not stop God from accomplishing His purpose for Abraham. God’s mercy and favour prevailed over Sarah’s sin of unbelief. It is my prayer that whatsoever is the shortfall in your life that will not allow Him to bless you in your time of visitation, may his mercy prevail in Jesus name. The Lord’s favour took care of Sarah and Elisabeth’s disgrace among the people, so shall it be done to you in this season too. The long awaited miracle is to fulfil God’s divine purpose. This is your season of favour; God will definitely show you mercy. You will enjoy the fullness of the Holy Spirit power to accomplish for what He has longed planned for you. As you ask the question like Mary when she received the message from angel Gabriel at Christ’s birth “how shall it be?” the response from Heaven to you now is that the Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Most High will overshadow you. You will give birth to a miracle that you, and all around, as well as nations will know it is of God. God will perfect the process of His miracle for you, will visit you, and make your life colourful and beautiful in this New Year.
