IN THE DAY OF GOD POWER

“The Lord said to my Lord site at my right hand, till I make your enemies your foot tool. The Lord shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies your people shall be volunteers, in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning you have the dew of your youth’’ (Psalm 110:1-3)
Every one desires to exercise some degree of power or authority over a situation, circumstance people or group of persons. At the beginning of the creation, man was given power or dominion by God over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air and over every living that moves on the earth including Satan and its demons. (Gen 1:28b)
The search for power today for protection, create wealth or do some extra-ordinary things in life cannot be over emphasis, this fat therefore has push so many people to the wrong source or counterfeit source of power (Satan and its agent).
All power belongs to God, his power as of old has never ever diminish power to save to heal to deliver, bless to promote, to kill to destroy and to keep alive remain the same.
Adam lost the divine power to the devil, when he disobeyed god’s commands (Gen 3:1-8), this same super divine power was recovered by the second Adam “Jesus Christ” and restored back who ever accepted Him Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
“He came to His own and his own did not received Him, but as many as receive Him to them He gave the power or right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” John 1: 11-12
Your day of God’s power beings the very moment you accepted Jesus Christ into your heart that is deliberate confession and turning away from sin and what is evil, living a life of totally consecrated and devoted unto God.
“But to those who are called both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and wisdom of God (1Cor 1:24)
In Christ Jesus you are given power and authority to humiliate, disgrace and put all your enemies to shame and silence. He gives you power over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
“Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpent and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
In Christ there is victory and divine protection and security from all wiles of the enemies.
In the day of God’s power the divine ability and wisdom to create wealth is given “And shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers as it is this day. (Dut 8:18).
Christ came to make the day of God’s power available to every one, the totality of his work on earth, his death, burial, resurrection and ascension is geared towards making you enjoy God’s awesome power on daily basis.
There are things God want the people of the world “unbelievers to see through your fellowship with Him the mystery of the kingdom of God is made manifest through Jesus Christ. The manifold wisdom and power of God is to be made known by the church “you and me” to by subduing principalities and power in the heavenly places.
To daily enjoy God’s power you must conform to the following norms:
Ø You must be genuinely born again (John 3:3,5)
Ø You must be committed to living a holy and pure live (Romans 12:1, Heb 1:9)
Ø A life of obedience to the Lord’s commands (John 13:34-35, John 15:14)
Ø Desire the baptism of the Holy spirit (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:38-39)
Ø Hunger for God’s glory and power (Mat 5:6, Ps 63:1-2) and worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Your day miracle and power is here receive Jesus Christ and the fullness of His provision for you here and now.

TESTIMONIES

Sis Tanto
One of the prophesy is joy of harvest. I have been sowing and ask God to be able to testify especially in the church project. We closed our account with my husband and gave it for the church project and later a man gave us five times the amount we gave.
Sis Faith
I want to thank God for protection in my live and family. I was sick and water was coming out from my body. But God healed me; this was when I was five years old. Now I am 21 and have never been sick. God also healed my twin brother and my mother.
Bro Kingne Gedeon
I thought with my transfer to Bafang I will not be able to catch up with my lessons in the Bible College, but I was distinguished as the best Francophone student in the Bible College. I thank God for this.
Bro Isaac

THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (I Thess.5:16-18)

What is thanksgiving? –it is an expression of gratefulness especially to God. In Psalm 95:2-3, the Bible says “let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms for He is the great God and the great King above all gods.”

You are to come before God every morning with words expressing gratefulness, gratitude for the success, blessings and all the help you daily receive from Him.

When you cultivate a regular habit of thanksgiving, a lot of miracles will daily attend to you among which are:
i) Thanksgiving brings deliverance when the day of trouble comes. Thanksgiving is an investment credited into your heavenly account against the day of trouble. People who go about grumbling and complaining in the face of troubles and challenges will end up crumbling. “Offer to God thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High, call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you and you shall glorify me.
ii) Thanksgiving provokes multiplication, praising provokes rising. Be a thank giver and a thanks liver. God will multiply you physically with good health, He will multiply you spiritually, multiply you financially and your joy, peace and rest will increase; your honour will be multiplied and will subtract all indices of shame out of your life and pursuit. The disgrace and disappointment of your enemy will multiply. Praise God despite the delay, you will multiply in due season. “Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving. And the voice of those who make merry. I will multiply them and they shall not diminish. I will also glorify them and they shall not be small” (Jer.30:19) Jesus Christ gave thanks for the provision of two loaves and five pieces of fish made available to feed 5000 men excluding, women and children. Miracle of multiplication took place, all the people were fed and twelve (12) baskets full were gathered as remains.
iii) Thanksgiving provokes healing, well-being and total restoration. In Luke 17:11-19, ten (10) lepers were healed of their leprosy; only one came back to Jesus Christ to give thanks. Because he came back to Jesus to offer thanks, he was made whole, well and totally restored. Jesus Christ at the grave of Lazarus gave thanks to His heavenly Father despite the death of his friend Lazarus; as you go before Him in this season with thanksgiving and praise, every good thing that death, the devil or elements of nature has swallowed up in your life will be vomited to you in Jesus name.

In 1993, my father was bedridden for more than four (4) months, everybody in our family had given up on him, it was said that the witches had divided his body as meat and eaten. By God’s grace, I was called home to see him die in our presence. On arriving home, I told the people my father is not going to die, I took hold of Psalms 136, read it, prayed it and rejoiced over the word concerning my father’s health; three days later, he was completely healed and restored with sound health. He lived another ten (10) years.

You need to thank God not only for what He has done but also for what He has not done but which you are fully persuaded, He is able to perform that which he has promised- this is an expression of absolute faith. Abraham thanked God for Isaac, glorifying Him for his descendants (Rom.4:20-21). Jesus Christ at Lazarus’ grave, said “Father I thank you that you have heard me” (John 11:41)

WHY ARE PEOPLE UNTHANKFUL?

1) Because of delayed miracles or unanswered prayers.
2) Testimony of others that makes them become unhappy.
3) Pride- when you believe you have achieved success because of your smartness, wisdom, hard work, human-connection etc.
Remember it is God who gives you power to create wealth and to eat of your labour. Thanksgiving is an attitude of the heart. If you cultivate that attitude, miracle will be daily occurrence in your life. Change your muddy attitude to that of gratitude and your unanswered prayers will become a thanksgiving. Break the negative disorder in your life by regular thanksgiving for this is the will of God for you.

Do you feel surrounded by dark and confusing circumstances? You can still lift your praise to God for the bright future; you will share with His son. Thanksgiving is not just the greatest virtue but the purest of all virtues. (Heb.13:15)

PRAYER

Lord, help me to stop complaining when things don’t go my way. Instead, give me a thankful heart for all you do each day.

Note: “A complaining Christian is a contradiction in terms.”
