THE QUICKENING SPIRIT

Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in me though he may die he shall live, and whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?

The blessed Trinity is a life giver, gives the right of existence, the ability to function and grow. The Holy Spirit in this present age is the experience of God in the life of a man, a stimulant, adding interest or enjoyment on the activity of the Christian.

In Gen.1:3-25, God spoke light and life into existence, lifelessness, emptiness, shapelessness, formlessness –receive light, emptiness was filled, shapelessness was given shape, disorderliness gave rise to orderliness. God spoke the word; the quickening Spirit went into action and brought the Word spoken into physical and tangible substances. You send forth your Spirit, they are created; and you renew the face of the earth. The Lord is bringing creative miracles into your body, soul, spirit and family by the power of His Spirit this day.

God created man from the dust of the earth. God breathed on man and suddenly man became a living soul, God’s breath is coming on you, your body, business and ministry to give you life and make you to become what God originally planned and purposed you to be.

Jesus Christ by His quickening Spirit is coming for you right now to attend to your case. “The devil does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus said “I have come to give life in more than enough. Martha and Mary invited Jesus Christ to the graveside or tomb of Lazarus by telling Him, come and see. Jesus will come for your case today, He will see your situation and intervene because He loves you; your case will be permanently settled. Why will Jesus Christ through His quickening Spirit intervene in your situation today? In Rom.5:8-10, the Bible makes us to understand that Jesus Christ has demonstrated his love for you, by dieing on the cross of Calvary; so his suffering and death will not go in vain. By his love, you have been justified by His blood; because of his death and his resurrection from the dead, He is alive forever, so shall you enjoy his salvation today in Jesus name. His Holy Spirit and power is ever present with us, in us and upon us. Lazarus’ case was humanly speaking impossible- he was dead, buried, his body was already decomposed and stinking, a big stone was equally rolled at the entrance of his grave thereby putting complete end on the chapter of his life. Humanly speaking, Lazarus’ case was a very serious case and an impossibility but when the Resurrection and the Life intervened, every piece of decomposed flesh gathered together, water and blood were restored into the body, every piece was divinely re-located to their original positions in his body and finally, the Spirit of God entered into him to bring fullness of life. I see God’s Spirit entering into every organ, tissue and cell of your body, bringing life back to you in Jesus name. Whatsoever damage or destruction or delay the enemy might have caused in your life, relax, the quickening Spirit will intervene and your situation will lead to the glory of God, and the son of God will be glorified through it.

If you will believe, you will see the glory of God. Do you believe you can be healed of that cancer, fibroid, HIV, malaria, migraine, liver, eye, ear problem right now? Do you believe your promotion, deliverance, breakthrough can take place now? That long and waited miracle and desire is being established now in the name of Jesus- not by might, not by power but by the Spirit of the Lord.

You are a candidate for God’s blessing through the mighty working power of his Holy Spirit; so surrender your life to Jesus Christ and present your body, soul and Spirit to Him for His Holy Spirit to richly dwell in.

A NEW EXPERIENCE WITH GOD

“As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for you O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God” (Psalms 42:1-2.)

In our daily walk with God, He desires that we gain new knowledge or skill about him, the way He sees and does things. Each fresh encounter or revelation of God is to affect you and I in some way. It is the will of God to reveal or make Himself, his ways and acts known unto us as His children. Each new revelation launches you or takes you to a higher height. Our God is deep; He does not like superficial ways of life or shallow living especially as it relates to us acquiring the knowledge about Him.

In Psalms 42:7, the Bible says “Deep calls unto deep at the noise of your waterfalls;” All your waves and billows have gone over me.

God is calling you to the deep, deeper walk, knowledge and understanding about his ways and acts. He is asking us to come to the place where He would immerse us in his glory, nature, anointing, power and blessings.

God’s ways and his person are to be shared with us, but it demands a conscious effort by you and I to seek Him especially in this season for a fresh encounter. “The secret things belong to the Lord, our God but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever that we may do all the words of this law. “Call unto me and I will answer you, and show you great and Mighty things which you do not know” (Deuteronomy 29:29, Jer.33:3). The knowledge of God is deep and His way no ordinary human being can fathom, yet he delights in putting his secret to the hands of the faithful who are called according to his purpose.

“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2). God gets glory because man cannot understand his universe or the way he rules and a king gets glory if he can uncover the truth and administer justice. Peter in his encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 5:1-11, had toiled all night without a catch of fish, he was frustrated, disappointed, dejected and in misery, but an encounter with Jesus Christ launched him to something new which he had never experienced before. As you are reading this message, the Lord of the universe who made fish in multitudes to gather for Peter’s catch at the lowest ebb of disappointment and frustration will intervene in your situation and give you an entirely new experience that will permanently alter the cause of your life and the purpose for your living will never remain the same again. Jesus’ instruction to Peter was: launch out into the deep for a new fishing experience, you will hear divine instruction today that will bring a once for a life-time miracle and blessing into your life, family, ministry and career in Jesus name.

Moses for several years had been walking with God, but a day came in his life that he hungered for more of God, for deeper revelation, a new experience of the Jehovah Yahweh. He cried to God, Lord show me your glory, show me now your way that I may know you and that I may find grace in your sight.

Moses request for a new experience with God was granted, your own requests and heart desires will be expressly granted in Jesus name because the word of God declares that “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled. Your desire for new things shall be supernaturally met in Jesus name.

In Acts 4:24-31, the disciples of Jesus cried for a new Pentecost experience to be able to meet the challenges and opposition confronting them in fulfilling their divine assignments. Their request was granted. They went out with power for signs and wonders that the enemy could no longer resist. In the name of Jesus Christ, receive a new power encounter of the Holy Spirit now that will make you overcome challenges and opposition of the enemy.
Paul cried to God that he needed to experience the power of resurrection again and deeper fellowship of the suffering of Christ that produce death and life through him, God gave him that encounter, he pressed forward, moved forward and upward. The spirit of God will give you a lift upward and a push forward in your walk with God.

TO HAVE A NEW EXPERIENCE WITH GOD, YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING

(1) Have a strong passion for God and the things of the kingdom.

(2) Fear Him and humble yourself before Him. He guides the humble in justice and teaches them his ways.

(3) Call on God earnestly and he shall show you new things about himself, yourself and people or situations around you.

(4) Offer him quality praise, worship and thanksgiving always.

(5) Study, meditate and do his Word.

You are invited to a season of close walk and affectionate devotion unto the Lord. Therefore, surrender your heart to Jesus, accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour and live in obedience to his Word.
