KINGDOM RICHES

“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all the nations of the world seek these things. But seek the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you. Do not fear little flock, for it is your father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:29-32)

God is a generous Father. He has all good things in His store house or treasure in more than enough quantity to meet the needs of all mankind and especially those who have been redeemed and purchased by the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. The Almighty God is the King that rules and reigns over the affairs of men and nations. The Bible calls Him the God of all flesh.

Kingdom wealth (physical and spiritual) is what the King has generously given to His subjects (kings and priests). The kingdom riches constitute the whole of God’s redeeming activity in Christ in this world which takes visible form in the life of those who live by the king’s commands, rules and principles. God’s call through Christ is “come to me all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” (Matt.11:28).

Individual lives are changed; the whole pattern of living is changed too, which make you bring positive changes, God’s blessings, riches, deliverance to communities and nations. Kingdom riches are for kingdom addicts, the Bible says “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you” (Matt.6:33). Kingdom wealth, both “physical and spiritual” is God’s desire for you. It gives God pleasure to see you prospering. Apostle John has this to say in 3 John 2 “Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers”

In Psalms 35:27, the Bible says “Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favour my righteous cause. And let them say continually “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servants”

Jesus Christ, full of love and kindness, was very rich yet for your sake, He became poor so that by his poverty, He could make you rich in the present and in the future (eternally). Through Him, God our Father has blessed you with every blessing in the heavenly places. He chose you in Him that you should be holy and without blemish before Him in love. In the Old Testament, as well as the New Testament, all the saints of old were rich holy men, starting from the father of faith “Abraham” to everyone who believed in Christ Jesus, the riches and blessings of Abraham have been transferred to us (Genesis.12:1-3) and Galatians 3:13-14.

Abraham was rich in livestock, gold, and silver and was very great, Jacob his grand child was exceedingly prosperous, had large flocks and was able to bless even his enemies with the riches. God’s promise to you and I is that He will impact you with the power and the might to get wealth.

God in His sovereignty is visiting you today to lift you up, from the ash heap and establish your throne of honour and to command wealth and riches into your life and career in Jesus’ name.

WHAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR KINGDOM RICHES

1. GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY- God says it is not he that wills or runs but it is the Lord that shows mercy. Ask God to visit you with mercies that provoke riches into the life of man. (1Samuel.2:7-8).

2. The Bible commands you to love the Lord, obey and keep His commandments in order to have strength to possess your riches and wealth, (Deut.11:1, 8; Deut.28:1-2).

3. Holy and righteous living is a must to be able to access kingdom riches (Heb.12:14; Psalms.35:27).

4. Wisdom, discerning heart and right strategy are essential. Wisdom is valued more than gold, and understanding than silver. You need creative ability to strategize on what to invest your life, time and money on that will yield best kingdom dividends. You must commit your life, time, resources to soul winning. He who wins souls is wise, work for the expansion and the enlargement of the kingdom. Promote its welfare.

5. Divine guidance and involvement are essential ingredients in entering and growing the kingdom riches. Isaac received instruction to stay in Gerar in time of famine, he sowed and God prospered him exceedingly (Gen.26:2-3, 12-14). Ask God to rightly locate or position you in your area of divine assignment. The humble He will guide and teach them His ways. (Psalms.2)

6. God’s presence and favour provoke Kingdom riches. Joseph in all his endeavours was guaranteed kingdom riches in Potiphar’s house, in the prison and in Pharaoh’s palace as a result of God’s presence and favour. (Gen.39:2-3).

7. Hard work and diligence. In all labour there is profit and a man who is diligent in his work will not stand before mean men but great men. (Prov.22:29).

8. Know the purpose of kingdom riches. It is to be used to expand and enhance the kingdom of God, not to be consumed on yourself but to be for the Church or mission work. It is for the kingdom addict; people who are kingdom minded and focused. You are to lay up your treasure in heaven where moth cannot destroy it.

9. Kingdom riches are operated on covenants. In every covenant-relationship, there are regulations, dos and don’ts. Doing your part, seeking God, pursuing God, making God your waking thoughts and worship of the King of the kingdom is a matter of priority. (Job. 22:21-25)

10. Discover the truth of the Scripture (Word) and act on it by faith. God rewards obedience to His Word. Declare the word in righteousness and by faith because His Word runs very swiftly, honour His Word and establish His Word firmly. So learn to study, talk and live the Word, and the riches and prosperity of the kingdom will become apparent in every area of your life.

Beloved, the riches of the kingdom is a mystery but Jesus Christ said “to you it has been given to understand the mystery of the kingdom riches and live in the reality of it”. He is willing and ready to make known and deliver it to you as you pledge your loyalty and love to Him. He will take you on a discovery, recovery and restoration journey. So, uncover, enter and enjoy the kingdom riches from now on in Jesus’ name.

DIVINE PROMOTION

It is God that gives a man a permanent raise in life. God is always in the business of lifting His children to a higher position or rank, contributing immensely to their growth and prosperity, both physically and spiritually.

“For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south but God is the judge, He puts down one, and exalts another” (Psalms 75:6-7)

Promotion from God can come in various ways and forms. For example- a job seeker that suddenly has job opportunities or an employee that becomes an employer, a barren woman becoming a mother of Children, a beggar becoming a giver, a tenant becoming a landlord, singles becoming married. It can still be God moving you from the backside of the desert, from obscurity to prominence in your family, business, career or ministry as He did for David, Moses, Joseph, and Peter in the Scripture. God’s promotion can be physical and or spiritual. For example salvation, endowed with Holy Spirit gifts or ministry gifts.

WHY RELY ON GOD TO PROMOTE YOU?

The Lord is high above all nations, His glory is above the heavens, and He dwells on high perpetually. (Psalms 113:4-5) He is the God of all mankind, there is nothing too hard for Him to do (Jeremiah 32:17,27) He is the El-Shaddai, the All-sufficient God (Genesis 17:1) The Lord is strong and mighty. He is mighty in battle (Psalms 24:8) God’s power is without limit- He is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all you can think or imagine. (Ephesians.3:20) He is not limited in His work of creation (Matt.3:9). Nothing He does baffles or tires Him (Isaiah 40:28). God has the ability to do all His Holy will, He has the power over His entire nature (universe): over man, over angels, over Satan, over death, rulers or authorities. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that God does not have control or power over, either now or later. (Revelation 20:14).

With the afore mentioned reasons, I want to charge you to relax because your miracle, promotion, lifting and advancement is on the way. Your present situation or circumstances not withstanding, His everlasting arm will reach you for lifting even as you read this message in Jesus name.

WHAT TO DO FOR YOUR PROMOTION TO BE ESTABLISHED

1. Hold on to God for His promises, knowing fully well that God is not a liar, He will do what He says and what He wants to do He will say it ahead of time.

2. Have the confidence that you will be promoted and established in accordance to His divine will and purpose for your life.

3. Do not be discouraged when the devil and people rise against you because it must surely happen. The devil and man does not want others to progress, it is God that works it out in you. So be determined to be raised and lifted. Think, sleep, talk, walk, act success, exaltation and lifting.

4. Walking in obedience to God (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

5. Be sensitive to the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit as to what to do to be lifted up.

6. Commitment and dedication to God’s course, work and jealousy for His kingdom and Name as exhibited by Shadrach, Meschach, Abednego and Daniel.

7. Living a holy, sanctified and righteous life is a must. Righteousness exalts and promotes. (Proverbs 14:34).

8. HUMILITY- The Bible says humble yourself under God’s mighty hand and He will lift you up (James 5:10)

9. Be an incurable soul winner; put your gifts and talents into use. (Luke 19:11-19)

10. Be diligent in your work, in the place of prayer and worship of God.

WHAT CAN KEEP YOU DOWN

1. Walking in disobedience to God.

2. Pride and not honouring God in your life.

3. Unbelief, doubt, complacency and procrastination.

4. Despising and criticizing those that are being promoted or lifted up around you.

5. Outright activities of Satan and the agents of darkness who never wish you well.

6. Sin of any kind or any form will make you to be debased. So flee from every appearance of evil.

You are in this season of exaltation, favour and the mercy that flow from God’s throne of grace. It is our prayer that you will not miss your promotion in Jesus’ name. Your neighbours and relations shall celebrate with you this year because the Almighty God will surely lift you up.

THE KINGDOM LIFE STYLE

"For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17)

The kingdom of God is the domain where God rules and reigns supreme. The domain can be an individual, life, family, home, village, town or nation. God Almighty is the universal King who reigns over the affairs of the nations or peoples. God’s rule became evidenced more on earth with the coming of Christ and an individual is ushered into the kingdom by accepting Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour.

On being ushered into God’s kingdom, there are culture, tradition, way of life, value and norms that are expected of you and me who are heirs of the kingdom.

There are life styles and attitudes that are not permitted and there are those that are permitted. “But now you yourselves are to put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. And put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him” (Colossians 3:8,10) Joy, peace, promotion, lifting, healing, long life, victory, riches, wealth are all that are available in the Kingdom and which we have access to through Christ.

DO’S OF THE KINGDOM

(1) FELLOWSHIP- Divine fellowship with the Father on daily basis. Recognize the Lordship of God and so He must be worshipped. The Bible says “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving. Let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms. Worship or fellowship with God turns God on and makes God to do the unimaginable for the worshippers. God can be worshipped through studying the Word. The Word is a binding force between you and the Father. The extent of God’s Word in your heart determines your miracle, so be filled with the Word.

(2) LOVE- The nature of God is Love. God expects any child of His kingdom to love Him, love yourself and love your neighbour as yourself. “For this is the message that you heard from the beginning that we should love one another” (I John.3:11).

(3) OBEDIENCE- You must put yourself under God’s tutelage and rule. God’s standard is the same all over the ages. Obedience to God’s injunction in the Word and godly leaders. Jesus Christ obeyed totally. God expects total obedience. Disobedience to God is very grievious. “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord. He also has rejected you from being King” (I Samuel 15:23) “You must make up your mind to obey God completely. “if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19)

(4) FAITH- God-like and child-like faith is expected in the kingdom. Faith that takes God at His Word. Faith that looks at storms right in the face like the eagles (Hebrew.11:6).

(5) FORGIVENESS -This is part of the lifestyle of the kingdom. Jesus loved us and washed us from sin. Do not harbour grudges, hatred. Forgive so that your own sins will be forgiven. “But if you do not forgive neither will your Father in Heaven forgive your trespasses” (Mark 11:26).

(6) HOLINESS- God is holy; the King of the domain has commanded to be holy. Holiness should cover every area of your life. “But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written: Be holy for I AM HOLY” (I Peter 1:15-16)

THE DON’TS OF THE KINGDOM

(1) SIN- In the kingdom, sin that is wilful, disobedience to the Word of God is an abomination. The Bible says he or she that makes sin a habit is of the devil. Sin has no degree, so avoid or shun it.

(2) SLANDER- It is often prevalent in the world, but speaking evil of somebody else in his absence is tantamount to killing and it is not part of the lifestyle of the heirs of the kingdom.

(3) FOOLISH TALK- The Bible warns against corrupt communication or even keeping of evil company. Shun gossip, foul or filthy language in all its ramifications.

(4) PLAYING CHURCH OR BEING RELIGIOUS- A Christian life must be productive; fruitfulness in soul winning and the bearing of the Christian virtue and conduct. You must be dead to the works of the flesh. Witness to populate the kingdom of God by your lifestyle and deeds. (Matt.5:14-16) Do not be casual with God, have a close walk with Christ and work for Him.

(5) WORLDLINESS- The things of this world are mundane and temporal, The Bible says they will soon pass away, so love not the world nor the things of the world, but love the people for God so loved the world. Through your love you can win them over to the kingdom of God. (I John 2:15-17)

(6) PRIDE- In the kingdom, there is grace to excel above your normal human capacity. Unusual promotion, success, lifting, blessings and breakthroughs of different kinds are evidence of this excellence. So do not arrogate your blessings to your own effort and then begin to puff. God warns Israel: when you have become wealthy and rich do not say in your heart, my power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth. So remember the Lord your God and be clothed with humility before Him and man.

By living the kingdom way here on earth, your life will be filled with the fullness of God’s blessings that will cause the people outside the kingdom to fear, reverence and surrender to the Lord your God. Be a change agent in your world through healthy kingdom lifestyle.
