I AM FOR SIGNS AND WONDERS

“Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me. We are for signs and wonders in Israel, from the LORD of hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion,” (Isa 8:18).

The almighty God did recreate and redeem you through Jesus Christ so as to make you a living proof or evidence of His presence or His coming into your life for the whole world around you. You are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ to become an object of admiration and for you and people around you to have a feeling of awe and a producer of such acts that is, amazing and wonderful acts becoming your life style.

Your coming to Mount Zion is to give you new testimonies, a new name that will reveal the wonderful plans of the almighty God and for the name to produce the miraculous for you. The wonderful things that God ordered for you will come to pass in a few months from now.

God gave Moses as a sign for Israel, Pharaoh and the Egyptians. God will be with you, will change you, empower and anoint you to be for signs and wonders, your word and speech shall become authority that people and situations listen to and obey in Jesus’ name.

Moses encountered God, a fugitive became a deliverer, having been delivered from fear, destiny truncaters, his rejection gave way to his acceptance as a ruler and deliverer. As you read this message you shall be restored to fulfill God’s original plan and purpose for your life in Jesus’ name.

One of the main reasons why Jesus came is to make you for signs and for wonders having saved you. God’s Spirit has been given to you to confirm His word with signs and wonders, as the gospel is being preached, like wise the gifts of the Holy Spirit which enables the building of the body of Christ.

In the Old Testament, the widow of Zarephath said this concerning Elijah, “Now by this I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the LORD in your mouth is the truth.” (1Kg.17:24). What provoked this statement from this widow was the miracle of the dead child coming alive through the prayer of Elijah.

I pray for you now in the name of the resurrected Lord that every good thing the enemy has killed in your life come alive again in Jesus’ name.

Jesus Christ gave the commission of preaching the gospel to all who believe in His Name and said these signs will follow those who believe “In my Name” will cast out demons, speak in new tongues and lay hands on the sick to recover. The disciples (believers) went everywhere and Jesus worked with them confirming the word through accompanying signs and miracles.

You are for signs and wonders, an asset and not a liability in the kingdom of God. Take miracles (signs and wonders) out of Christianity and all you have left is another lifeless religion. Without miracles there is no proof that Jesus is alive.

Christ showed Himself alive by many infallible proofs. Signs and wonders showed God’s approval of Christ’s life and ministry. People need Christ, they seek reality and they believe when they have proof that Jesus is alive and real. People are made to walk with God, they instinctively seek for Him through one good religious ritual but the gospel term proclaimed is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes (Rom. 1:16).

The Apostle prayed for power to witness for Jesus with accompanying miracles (Acts 4:29-31, 33).

Phillip did signs and wonders in one of the cities of Samaria that compelled sorcerers, diviners, demons, sicknesses and diseases sorrow to give up on their victims (Acts 8:5-8).

Signs and wonders verify God’s support for you and your ministry as a believer not as a Pastor or Evangelist, Apostle or Prophet or a Teacher. God also bears witness both with signs and wonders with various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will (Heb 2:4). People need Christ; they seek for reality and will believe when they have proof that Jesus is alive and real. Be born again, live a holy life believe what God says you are, preach the gospel, tell it, confess it everywhere to the crowd, individuals, public or private. Jesus is still doing today what He did on earth before He went to heaven. He is alive forevermore. The proof of His resurrection from the dead is by doing signs and wonders.

Do not disappoint Jesus Christ any longer; use the God given resources and the personality of the Holy Spirit to bring glory to heaven and joy to the earth.

OVERTAKING BLESSING

God’s blessing on the lives of His children is essential to their wellbeing. This is dear to God’s heart that the first thing God did in relation to humanity was to bless it.” Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it, have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”(Gen. 1:28)

God sustains His work by blessing. Your life is therefore under the operation of God’s blessing and cursing (Deut.11:20). God’s will for you is that you should be blessed and enjoy overflowing and overtaking blessings as you walk in obedience to His commandments. “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessing shall come upon you and overtake you because you obey the voice of the LORD your God.” (Deut.28:1-2)

What does the word Blessing mean;

(1) A divine gift which could be a natural gift or a spiritual gift that God released or endowed you with from His treasured storehouse in heaven to cause your work to succeed.(Deut.28:12)

(2) God’s blessing means His abiding presence with you. The most important asset a child of God needs in life is “Immanuel.” When God is with you, you will prosper in the work of your hand, be victorious always, live long to fulfill divine destiny. God told Isaac, “Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you.” (Gen.26:3a). The rest of the story of Isaac in Gerar was awesome regardless of the famine in the land.

(3) God giving you strength, power and help to accomplish your mission or task on earth, ”that He would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man

(Eph.3:16).

(4) God working in and through you to produce His good pleasure (Phil.2:13)

The whole of Jesus Christ on earth is that He is God sent to bless you. The blessing of God could be conditional or unconditional; reversible or irreversible. You have the choice to make to live under God’s blessing or cursing based on your obedience or disobedience.

How do you Receive God’s Blessing?

(a) You must always look to Jesus for His blessing on your life, Ministry, work, and your family (Heb.12:2).

(b) You must believe in, love and obey Him (Jesus Christ)

(Matt 5:3-11, Matt 24:45-46).”Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it” (Rev.1:3).

(c) You must remove everything from your life that would hinder the blessing. “That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.” (Eph 4:22)

God’s blessing as promised by God if His commandments are obeyed is sure to come upon and overtake you.

However, God’s blessing may not be equated with personal material gain or

the absence of suffering in our lives which promotes His ultimate blessing.

I thank God for what he did in my life after the special programme of Thursday. during the programme my Pastor by the leading of the holy spirit asked everyone to ask for one thing from the lord .I asked for Divine provision & God answered me from an area I was not expecting. My sister that I’ve been praying for for upliftment & provision was the one God used to send me an amount I was not expecting. So God answered my prayers in a special way. Glory be to God in the highest.

COMPLETE DELIVERANCE

The Almighty God, our Lord Jesus Christ and the blessed Holy Spirit (Trinity) has always been in the business of saving whosoever calls on Him, to free him from danger, from bad and unpleasant situations. The Lord Jesus Christ made us to understand that it is possible to be free from demonic affliction, danger or bad situations by the revelation of the “Truth”- Jesus Christ and His mission or redemptive work He accomplished for mankind on earth. The knowledge of the “Word of God” Jesus Christ you know and apply is very vital to your degree of freedom from sin (Col.1:13); from the flesh (I Corin.9:27); from troubles (Job 5:19); from demons (I Jn.3:8).

“And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free, therefore if the son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” (Jn.8:32, 36).

Apostle Paul said the good I want to do is not what I do but the evil or wrong I do not want to do is what I find myself doing. Paul’s mind was imprisoned by the law of sin which opened him up to other forms of evil vices. He saw himself as in bondage and exclaimed to be a wretched man, he looked for rescue from this body of death elsewhere to no avail except in Jesus Christ- “Thanks be to God- through Jesus Christ our Lord” He found deliverance in God through Christ Jesus from what has kept his mind, body, soul and spirit in bondage for long.

God made you alive with Christ, He forgave you all your sins, cancelled the written code with its regulations that was against you, that stood opposed to you, He took it away, nailing it to the cross, disarmed the powers and the authorities, he made a public spectacle of them triumphing over them by the cross” (Colossians 2:13-15)
Jesus Christ delivered you from sin and the consequences of sin for example sickness, oppression, affliction, obsession from Satan and lies demons, poverty, premature death, etc.
Today it is not uncommon to see believers or Christians whose lifestyle makes no difference from the unbelievers “people of the world”. The Bible refers to them as carnal Christians. In Christ Jesus there is deliverance from the sinful nature.” I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer “I” who live but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”(Gal 2:20)
Jesus Christ through His death on the cross has brought deliverance for believers from anger,idolatry,hatred, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, drunkenness, contentions and the like which hinder your smooth walk with God.
In addition to the finished work on the cross against all carnality or fleshly manifestations, you need to discipline your body and bring it into subjection to the efficacy of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
The scriptures make us to understand that many are the troubles or affliction of the righteous but the Lord delivers them from it all.
God’s promise to set you free from danger or unpleasant situations is certain, so you need to hold unto Him, it is the devil’s responsibility to bring you to troubles. It is God’s greatest delight to set you free completely from such troubles no matter how many or great they are.
“He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes; in seven no evil shall touch you. In famine He shall redeem you from death and in war from the power of the sword, you shall be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, and you shall not be afraid of destruction when it comes,” (Job 5:19-21 and Psalm 91)
Jesus Christ did not come to set you free from sin alone but also came to liberate you completely from every demonic or satanic oppression or possession and its side effects like curses or evil covenants. God’s plan is that your bodies should be the temple of the Holy Spirit and that all your activities be controlled by the Holy Spirit, so that your body, soul and spirit be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I decree concerning you now in the name of Jesus Christ that every activity of Satan, demons, curses in your life be destroyed in Jesus mighty name.
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God (Jesus Christ) was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil.
You can receive your deliverance through one or more ways as stated here:-praising God, using the word of God, anointing with oil, using the power of attorney in Jesus Christ’s name, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ, binding and loosing the spirit responsible for the bondage, sometimes fasting, speaking or praying in the Holy Ghost.
To be delivered and remain delivered, you must be born-again, forgive others their sins against you, repent of all your sins, do not hold on to occult symbols or objects. Renounce old covenants and forsake old ways, live a holy life, avoid old habits, keep off from occultic practices, confess your deliverance often, be bold, study the Bible, pray always and fellowship with Christians (believers), preach the gospel.
Your deliverance is a settled matter as far as God is concerned;
“But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance and there shall be holiness and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions, you are therefore encouraged to present your body to God as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service. Do not conform to the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable, perfect will of God;” (Obadiah 17; Rom 12:1-2).
